August Burns Red have released Season Of Surrender via Fearless Records. The record continues the band’s long stretch of technically driven metalcore and is available now.
The album includes guest appearances from Mike Hranica (The Devil Wears Prada), Jamie Hails (Polaris) and Make Them Suffer. Tracks span the band’s familiar chug and melody while leaning into heavier, tighter arrangements.
Early response has highlighted the record’s technical bite and heft, framing it as a confident entry from a band two decades into carving their sound.
August Burns Red will headline Australia and New Zealand this September and October with special guests Bloom and I Promised The World (USA). Note: I Promised The World do not perform on the Wellington and Auckland dates.
