Avenged Sevenfold Announce 2026 Australian Tour

Avenged Sevenfold return to Australia after 12 years with Coheed and Cambria and Thornhill

It’s been a long wait, but Avenged Sevenfold are finally heading back to Australia.

After 12 years away from Australian stages, the Californian heavyweights will return this October for three massive arena shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, with Coheed and Cambria and Melbourne’s own Thornhill joining them for the entire run.

The tour marks Avenged Sevenfold’s first Australian visit since 2014 and will see the band return with a lot of ground to make up. In the years since, they’ve released The Stage and the wildly experimental Life Is But a Dream..., while continuing to push well beyond the sound that first made them one of the defining metal bands of the 2000s.

With a catalogue stretching from City of Evil and Avenged Sevenfold through Nightmare, Hail to the King and their more recent material, there’s plenty to pull from after more than a decade away.

And the supports make this one hell of a return.

Coheed and Cambria will make the trip alongside Avenged Sevenfold, while Thornhill join the bill on home soil following the release of BODIES in 2025.
