The America-based South African expat will headline concerts in Brisbane, Adelaide, Fremantle, Sydney and Melbourne. "AUSTRALIA! I cannot wait to see ya."
Known for his heartfelt, emphatic songwriting blending folk, Americana and indie rock, next month Isakov will release his newest studio album, 'Appaloosa Bones', his first record since 2018's 'Evening Machines' (which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Folk Album).
Gregory has released three singles from the new album so far: 'The Fall', 'Before The Sun' and the the title track (that landed last week).
"I hope you dig it," shares Gregory discussing the single 'Appaloosa Bones'. "It was written mostly in isolation and touches on confronting your mind during difficult times, and that there's beauty in hard things."
Isakov co-produced 'Appaloosa Bones' with Andrew Berlin (Descendents, Rise Against), which was recorded at Isakov's studio outside of Boulder, Colorado.
"After these past few years of writing, recording, working, pacing, scribbling, and ample time staring out the window," adds Isakov, "I'm feeling immensely proud to announce the release of the new album, 'Appaloosa Bones', which comes out 18 August."
