No Cure have announced their debut album It Is Going To Get Dark alongside the release of chaotic new single ‘Convulsing In The Dark’.

Alabama hardcore outfit No Cure have announced their debut full-length album It Is Going To Get Dark, due out July 10 via SharpTone Records.
Alongside the announcement, the band have released new single ‘Convulsing In The Dark’, a violent and chaotic first look at the record that folds death metal precision into the band’s abrasive hardcore foundation.
While earlier No Cure releases focused more heavily on personal experience and straight edge identity, It Is Going To Get Dark expands outward into themes of societal collapse, exhaustion and existential dread. Vocalist Blaythe Steuer described the record as being shaped by grief, constant touring and the growing feeling that “things are getting worse, and there is no end in sight.”
Recorded in a remote Alabama cabin with longtime collaborator Kevin Langley, the album pushes the band further into heavier and more unpredictable territory without losing the raw aggression that has driven their rise through the hardcore underground.
Since forming in 2022, No Cure have quickly become one of the more talked-about names in contemporary hardcore, touring alongside bands including The Acacia Strain, Boundaries and Cattle Decapitation.
