The Hellacopters & Gluecifer Announce 2027 Australian Tour
The Hellacopters return to Australia alongside Gluecifer for their first-ever shows down under
The Hellacopters and Gluecifer are heading to Australia together for the Respect The Rock tour in March 2027.
The four-date run will hit Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, bringing The Hellacopters back to Australian stages for the first time in more than a decade and marking Gluecifer’s first-ever shows down under.
Formed in Sweden in 1994, The Hellacopters came out of the Scandinavian garage rock scene with their debut album Supershitty to the Max! in 1996. The band called it quits in 2008 before reuniting in 2016, and have since released two more albums including 2025’s Overdriver.
Gluecifer also formed in 1994, over in Oslo, Norway. After releasing five albums and spending more than a decade together, they split in 2005 before reuniting in 2017. Earlier this year they released Same Drug New High, their first new album in more than 20 years.
Now, more than 30 years after both bands first formed, they’re bringing the Respect The Rock tour to Australia for four shows.
