A Perfect Circle will return to Australia this December for their first local headline tour in over a decade.
The long-awaited run marks the return of Billy Howerdel and Maynard James Keenan’s alternative rock project following years of sporadic activity and extended gaps between tours. The band recently returned to the stage with their first European headline dates in eight years, alongside the 25th anniversary celebrations for their debut album Mer de Noms.
Maynard James Keenan will also pull double duty on the Australian run, with Puscifer opening every show. The project, also featuring Mat Mitchell and Carina Round, returned earlier this year with their fifth album Normal Isn’t, continuing their blend of electronic textures, post-punk influence and theatrical live performance.
Across four albums, including Mer de Noms, Thirteenth Step and Eat The Elephant, A Perfect Circle became one of the defining alternative rock acts of the early 2000s, balancing heavy dynamics with darker melodic songwriting. While the band has spent long periods inactive, they returned in recent years for select live dates and released standalone single ‘Kindred’ in 2024.
A second Sydney date has now been added following the first show selling out.
