Melbourne instrumental prog-metal duo The Archanan have released their new EP, Catacomb — a project several years in the making. The pair spent some time writing and demoing the material before bringing it together as a completed release.

Built around the concept of a chaotic adventure into the unknown, Catacomb takes listeners on an instrumental journey.

The duo, Chris (guitar) and Simon (drums), take a composition-focused approach to their music, with Dylan Ringuede contributing to sound production and performing a guest guitar solo.

Catacomb features a heavy mix by Mike Trubetskov and was mastered by Ayden Perry at Q4 Mastering.
